DR. JARED WELLMAN
Jared joined the Tate Springs family in 2017. He's been married to Amanda since 2006, and they are blessed with three daughters. He's earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from the Criswell College in Dallas, Texas, a Ph.D. on the subject of Heaven at South African Theological Seminary, and is a Ph.D. student at Southwestern Theological Seminary in the field of Apologetics. In 2012 he published his first book, The Church Member. In his free time, Jared enjoys writing, following the NBA, and spending time with family.
Jason joined the Tate Springs family in 2018. He was born in Michigan and has served in churches all over the nation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Worship from Liberty, where in 2015 he won Performer of the Year. Jason also holds a Master of Music from the University of Georgia. He's been married to Bree since 2017.
Ray has served faithfully in the DFW metroplex for many years and was called as the Outreach Minister in 2018, as the first order of business for the year. Ray holds several degrees from the Criswell College in Dallas and is a Ph.D. candidate at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ray is married to the love of his life, Chante.
Curtis joined Tate Springs in May of 2018. He's served in vocational ministry for 23 years in various capacities, including youth, education, and worship. He holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Criswell College in Dallas. He's been married to Kilyn for over two decades and they are blessed with two sons.
Mark joined the Tate Springs leadership team in 2017 as the Interim Student Minister, and then moved into the Discipleship Minister role in 2018. He graduated with his Master of Educational Leadership from Gateway Theological Seminary in 2018. He's married to Rebecca and they have been blessed with three children.
Halley first came on staff as the Director of the Tate Tots Weekday Education program in May 2005. In November 2010, she became the children's minister, and now serves as the Principal of our Christian School. Halley has a Bachelor's of Health Science Education from Baylor. She's married to Bryant and they've been blessed with four children.
Amanda joined the leadership team in 2019. She has served children in Texas and around the world. Amanda has a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Stephen F. Austin State University and is currently pursuing a Masters of Christian Education with a concentration in Children's Ministry at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Shannon joined the leadership team at Tate Springs in 2019, and has been a member of Tate for over a decade. She has served faithfully and volunteered in many capacities at Tate Springs over the years. Shannon is currently a student at Western Governors University pursuing a degree in Special Education with a focus on pre-k thru sixth grade. Shannon and her husband, Matthew, have been married for 11 years and have been blessed with 4 children.
Young Adult Minister
Connor has been a part of Tate Springs his entire life. While in college, he toured with a ministry team around the US and UK from 2012-2015, ministering to youth groups and churches. In May of 2017 he graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Management of Information Systems, and is currently pursuing his Masters at Criswell College. Connor has been married to Patience since 2018.
Sheri officially joined the Tate Springs family in 2003, serving as a ministry assistant for music and office needs. She and her husband, Frank, met at Texas Wesleyan University where Sheri participated in the Wesleyan Wind Ensemble and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. They have been married since 1992 and have two children.
Lynn and her husband, Brian, have been married thirty-four years and members of Tate Springs since 1986. They have three grown children and two grandchildren. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi, and has been employed at Tate Springs since 2006.
Vincent joined the Tate Springs family in 2014. He has been married to his wife, Victory, since 2001, and they are blessed with three children. He's earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of PortHarcourt, Nigeria; a Master of Divinity from the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary; as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Education from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS). He is currently researching the subject of wisdom pursuant to a Ph.D. in Foundations of Education at SWBTS. He loves to pray, love on his family and also mentor future leaders. Vincent is a Church Planter.
Les joined the Tate Springs family in 2019. Alongside serving as the Facilities Supervisor, Les is the Associate Pastor intern. He holds a Master of Theological Studies at George W. Truett Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at Columbia International University. Les and his wife Michelle have been married since 1989 and have four children. In his free time, Les enjoys reading, playing guitar, and spending time with family.
Corban has known Tate Springs as his church since childhood. He came on as a Maintenance Associate in the summer of 2016 and began serving as the Worship Intern in August of 2019. Corban is a student at Dallas Baptist University, where he's pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Science with a concentration in Computer Security. After graduation, he plans to pursue a graduate degree for ministry.
Family Ministry Intern
Houston graduated from High School in 2017 from Crockett, Texas. He is currently a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he majors in Christian Studies. Houston enjoys writing poetry, hiking, eating good food, and is interested in the field of digital communications and how they can be used to further the gospel.
Carter grew up in Rhome, TX. Prior to his time at Tate Springs he served at Camp Copass and aided in the Student Ministry at FBC Decatur. Carter has experience preaching and teaching students and adults as well. He also has a heart for engaging children and students with special needs. He's pursuing a degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Chris joined the maintenance team at Tate Springs in 2019. He is currently a student at Southwestern Theological Seminary where he's pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies. In his free time, Chris enjoys exercising, reading, watching baseball, and spending time with family and friends.
